Neil Young and Crazy Horse Reveal New 37 Minute Jam Session

As previously reported, Neil Young is working on a new album (or two) with his old friends in Crazy Horse. On Saturday, the anticipation for that release reached an entirely new level when Neilyoung.com was updated with a 37 minute video containing audio from a recent Crazy Horse jam session.
The session, titled “Horse Back,” was recorded at Audio Casa Blanca on Jan 6, 2012 and features extended takes on the Ragged Glory rocker “Fuckin’ Up,” and the classic “Cortez The Killer.” The video itself is also quite exciting with footage of the empty studio, mixing boards with labels like “Pancho vocals” and “Neil vocals,” vintage Gibson Les Paul guitars and all sorts of analog and digital recording gear. Keep an eye on Thrasher’s Wheat as the sleuths over there continue to dissect the video’s many clues.
Head to Neil’s official site to check out the 37 minute Crazy Horse jam session.
